When it comes to celebrating the Christmas season, I’ve always been a huge fan of all the beautiful rituals that go along with hosting the festivities.
Sure, it can be exhausting to have a whole swarm of people in your house, but there’s something so satisfying about organizing the presents, decorating the mantel, and preparing delicious food for appreciative guests, like this tasty peanut butter bark!
For me, one of the most soothing rituals of Christmas is laying the table! I love the excuse to pull out the good china, polish the stemware until it sparkles, and haul out the special centerpieces that I only use on special occasions!
And this year, I have a brand new touch to add to my place settings! I always like to put out cloth napkins when I’m hosting a big family dinner, and I just discovered a totally charming way to add a tasteful, seasonal touch just in time for Christmas day.
All you need are simple cloth napkins that will hold a fold reasonably well! Since the tutorial will turn them into tiny Christmas trees, green works best, but I imagine this will be just as cute in any other color!
Follow along with the video below to get the gist of how it’s done.
