Chrissy Teigen Fires Back At Moms Who Shamed Her For Taking Her Daughter On A Slide

by Lindsey Smith
Lindsey is from Florida and has worked in online and print media. Her happy place is Michaels craft store.

Chrissy Teigen can’t catch a break when it comes to other moms telling her how to parent.

She’s been harassed for getting dinner with her husband, John Legend, and not their daughter, and there are always strangers flocking to her social media pages, mommy-shaming her.

Chrissy joins a long list of celeb moms who get unsolicited advice from other moms.

On January 6, 2018, Chrissy posted an adorable photo of herself holding daughter Luna as the two went down a slide. “Weeeee are very skeptical of slides right now,” she captioned the photo.

Almost instantly, the mom received dozens of comments from mom shamers telling her how dangerous it is for Luna to be on a slide.

“Just a heads up this can break your little one’s legs! I have three friends who have had this happen!” one commenter wrote.

Chrissy is no stranger to these sorts of comments, so it can be expected that she will handle them with her normal dose of sarcasm. She didn’t wait long before replying in the comments to all of those who were harassing her.

Chrissy shut down haters and wrote:

Wish you guys would have told me about the leg thing earlier. They broke. Both of them. And everyone else’s in the park broke too just from watching it happen. There are so many broken legs here (heads up photos are a one second moment in time, I was lifting her onto my lap.

This is a good reminder not to tell other people how to parent or raise their child!
