And while most of us usually consider desserts to be unhealthy, it turns out you can add some unusual foods that’ll end up helping your heart more than hurting it!

Avocados are known to contain a lot of healthy fats but rarely have we ever thought to add them to a dessert menu. Well, it turns out that chef Carolina Santos-Neves has combined two ingredients that surprisingly complement each other in ways you’d never expect! Avocados and chocolate really do wonders together!

Ingredients
  • 2 Ripe avocados
  • 1 Cup Almond milk
  • 34 cup Honey
  • 34 cup Raw cocoa powder
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • 14 Tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 12 cup Unsweetened coconut flakes
  • Pinch Salt
Instructions
  • In a high powered blender combine all of the ingredients!
  • Blend until silky smooth.
  • Scoop mousse into bowl or glassware
  • Top with fresh bananas, strawberries, or blueberries
Add some toasted almonds to the very top, serve, and make sure to enjoy every single bite while it lasts!
