It’s not just teenagers who think they can do everything better than their parents, toddlers can be the same way. Like 2-year-old Mila who takes it upon herself to make a sandwich for her twin sister Emma.
As you’ll see in the clip below, the toddler is not satisfied by the food options available to her, so she demonstrates how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. What could go wrong?
Mila starts by grabbing two slices of bread but ends up dumping half of the loaf onto the floor. She then goes into the fridge looking for jelly and grabs the first red condiment she sees, which happens to be ketchup. When Mila goes into the pantry to find the missing item for her sandwich, she grabs a box of fruit strips and puts one, plastic wrap and all, on her sandwich.
“You need something to wash it down,” Mila says. But instead of drinking with the sandwich, Mila decides to pour her milk onto the bread. As toddlers do, Mila makes a huge mess but makes sure to clean it all up before calling Emma to the kitchen.
“Emma, lunch is ready,” she yells. “Come and get it!” That’s when Emma appears and hold nothing back telling her sister, “Your sandwiches are gross Mila!”
Thankfully, it was all fun and games and Mila isn’t upset, but I don’t think she’ll be making any more sandwiches after that!
