Eric Comfort has always loved the chicken sandwiches from his local Chick-fil-A restaurant, along with the incredibly kind and hardworking employees.
He’s always stopped into his favorite restaurant whenever he had the chance.
But just as he was getting ready to order his combo meal, he spotted something odd out of the corner of his eye. He did a double-take and slowly began to walk to a mysterious table sitting in the middle of the room.
What Eric saw there absolutely stunned him. He instantly took a photo to upload it to Facebook, and the only words he could find to say along with the touching photo were beautifully simple: “Here is what my local Chick-fil-a did in honor of Veterans Day.
That’s why this company is so beloved in Georgia. Unbelievable.”
When he asked the manager about it, the response was simple but clear: while other stores and restaurants might not care about our nation’s soldiers, Chick-fil-A stands up for what they believe in and supports them every step of the way!

Georgia man Eric Comfort walked into his favorite fast-food restaurant. He was looking forward to those amazing waffle fries!
Everyone knows that Chick-fil-A loves America and her nation's veterans. But when Eric saw an odd-looking table sitting in the middle of the restaurant, he was intrigued enough to leave the line.
It was just a normal day, but as he approached this table, his heart filled up with pride. Chick-fil-A has always been known for giving out free meals to veterans, but rarely have we ever heard of something this beautiful before.
A table placed in honor of those who are missing from our lives with a note that reads: 'This table is reserved to honor our missing comrades in arms. The tablecloth is white — symbolizing the purity of their motives when answering the call of duty. The single red rose, displayed in a vase, reminds us of the life of each of the missing and their loved ones and friends of these Americans who keep the faith, awaiting answers. The vase is tied with a red ribbon, symbol of our continued determination to account for our missing. A pinch of salt symbolizes the tears endured by those missing and their families who seek answers. The Bible represents the strength gained through faith to sustain those lost from our country, founded as one nation under God. The glass is inverted — to symbolize their inability to share this evening’s toast. The chair is empty — they are missing.'
