Adoption is such a beautiful thing.

Celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Hoda Kotb, Sandra Bullock, and Madonna have made headlines after they opened their hearts and homes to adopt children from all over the world.

As it turns out, there are just as many celebrities out there who were themselves adopted as children. No matter what the circumstances were, the decision by both their birth and adoptive parents completely changed the course of their lives forever.

I know my aunt completely changed my cousin’s life when she decided to adopt her over 20 years ago, and I think the same can be said for these 11 celebrities.
