When they aren’t done intentionally, photobombs can be pretty hilarious. And that’s especially true when they involve animals.

I mean, how can you not chuckle seeing a pooch jump in to adorably ruin a Minnesota couple’s engagement photos? Of course, those priceless photos went viral.

Same goes for the time a deer made her way into a baby’s photo shoot helping to create some of the most adorable baby photos of all time.

The New Jersey State Police also experienced a hilarious animal photobomb and had a good sense of humor about it.

These uniformed officers didn’t seem to mind having a sweet cat interrupt what was intended to be a very serious moment.

The New Jersey State Police shared the photo on their Facebook page, writing, “Well played cat. Well played.” (I have to agree!) The photo was shared more than 1,000 times and for very good reason.

See the hilarious photo for yourself below…

New Jersey State Police were in for quite a surprise one day on duty.

What was meant to be a serious Honor Guard photo op, turned out to be quite the opposite.

The reason?

Well, an adorable little feline decided to hop in and also have her picture taken right along with them.

She dove right onto the pavement and landed close by their feet. It was almost as if she knew exactly what she was doing.

“It’s no wonder that the internet is obsessed with cats. They are crazy little critters,” the New Jersey State Police shared on Facebook.

“Case in point: This kitty-splat photobomb can make even our most squared-away, locked-out Honor Guard chuckle.

Well played cat. Well played.”

One of the officers couldn’t contain his laughter as you see in the photo — and he wasn’t the only one.

Viewers who were just as amused as him, commented on the department’s Facebook page.
