Cats are pretty much guaranteed to make me smile.

Whether they’re making funny noises, getting stuck in silly places, or just being generally adorable, cats always make me feel good.

I’ve seen more cats than I can count in my days on the kitty-obsessed internet, but I’ve never seen one like this.

According to Mashable, this kitten who lives in Japan is more than just your regular kitten. He’s a double kitten — or, as people are calling him on Twitter, cat-ception.

Plenty of kitties have cute markings on their faces and noses, but this cat has a hyperreal marking on his nose that looks exactly like the silhouette of another cat.

According to TOKAITRICK_bot, the Twitter user who spotted this cat and shared his picture on Twitter, the special kitty is part of a litter of four. His siblings do not share his unique marking, making him truly one of a kind, as far as we know.

My dog has a pretty adorable spot on her face that people comment on all the time, but I can’t even imagine how many people talk to this cat’s owner about his special marking! I’m glad someone spotted this, so now the cute cat-ception can bring joy to people all over the world.
