Every cat lover can agree on a few things about cats, but one thing that would be at the top of that list is the fact that cats are stubborn.

If they want to lie down, it does not matter if your laptop is open with work on the screen or if you’re reading a very good book — they will get comfortable in a position that is never comfortable for you.

One cat’s stubbornness has gained quite a bit of attention and a little cult following.

Dubbed the Brockley Sainsbury’s cat, this feline has been reappearing at the same grocery store, despite being kicked out numerous times.

Something about the store draws the mystery cat in their doors and he will sit on the shelves to watch shoppers as they pass by.

“He lives in the house next door and he’s in here every day, all the time,” a Sainsbury’s spokesperson told The Telegraph. “He’s not allowed to be here.”

Many people have found the situation quite funny. They’ve shared photos of this cat on Twitter, calling him the Sainsbury’s cat.

With all the attention the cat generated online, it was revealed he’s not a street cat, but in fact, a house cat named Olly Oliver!

The cat’s owner, Adam, assured everyone on Twitter that his cat is not lost and he’s perfectly OK traveling to the store!

Olly’s love of the supermarket didn’t just earn him internet fame, he was also named “Animal of the Week” by Time Out London.

Olly enjoys casually standing on top of the shelves to watch shoppers as they select their groceries.

He also enjoys getting some attention every once in a while!
