Recently, we thought to ourselves, what better ingredient to incorporate in fun Halloween-inspired treats than the classic candy corn?
In our exclusive video below, we show you the easy steps to making the yummy dish.
First, line your baking sheet with square pretzels. Top them with Hershey’s Kisses (in this video they used caramel-filled Kisses), and place them in an oven (pre-heated at 250 °F) for four to five minutes. Then, gently press the candy corns into the melted chocolate.
Afterward, let the treats set for a few minutes in the fridge before plating them up.
Candy corn dates back to the 1880s, before either cars or commercial telephones were invented, so it definitely has had a long, vibrant history!
While you can certainly top your pretzels with a variety of other candies, such as M&Ms or Reese’s Pieces, candy corn is the go-to — especially this time of year!
