It is always amazing to me when a few simple adjustments completely transform a room. Granted, these “simple” adjustments are often the ideas of highly trained and talented interior designers, but they always make me wonder, “Why couldn’t I think of that?”
I was so impressed when this woman creatively made over her room using IKEA furniture and DIY hacks. This crafty mom blew me away with her laundry room makeover, which she came up with all on her own. Can they come to my house, please?
Interior designer Mary Elizabeth is known for absolutely transforming rooms on a budget. When she tackled YouTube host and blogger Sharzad’s guest bedroom, I knew it was going to impress… and that I should take notes!
By adjusting the layout and adding a few key accessories, Mary Elizabeth was able to take the run-of-the-mill bedroom and transform it into a glamorous oasis for just a few hundred dollars. My favorite trick she used was covering up a closet that did not have any doors by hanging a curtain from a suspension rod — which is just as easy as hanging a shower curtain.
The tricks that she used inspired me, and will inspire you, too!
Take a look at this impressive makeover, and please SHARE with any aspiring amateur interior designers!
