With the winter fast approaching, I am already on the lookout for fun and creative hacks to improve my holiday gift giving.

I’ve tried all kinds of creative ideas, like wrapping presents using some favorite old t-shirts. But when I spotted this brilliant and easy DIY method for designing my own original wrapping paper using bubble wrap, I knew I had found a winning idea.

This clever wrapping paper hack is such a great way to personalize gifts this holiday season. And luckily, I don’t have to be an amazing artist in order to pull it off. In fact, all I have to be able to do is use a paintbrush!

It really doesn’t get much simpler.

All I need for this gorgeous one-of-a-kind wrapping paper is a rolling pin, some bubble wrap, paint, a paintbrush, and some plain paper that is big enough to cover the present I’m wrapping.

Watch the video below to see just how easy and creative this bubble wrap gift wrap idea is. I totally plan to try this with all of my gifts this year. Everybody can get their own personalized paper!
