Britney Spears May Never Perform Again, According To The Singer’s Manager

by Angela Andaloro

Over a decade after Britney Spears‘ very public mental health meltdown, the state of her health is causing concern again.

Last month, word spread that Britney had checked into a wellness facility. The news came just weeks after the pop star canceled her latest Las Vegas show, Britney: Domination. She also announced she was postponing her upcoming album.

According to what Britney’s longtime manager, Larry Rudolph, recently told TMZ, the “perfect storm” of events led to Britney’s current troubles.

“We had to pull her show because her meds stopped working and she was distraught over her dad’s illness,” he said.

“Last summer, when she wanted to tour, she called me every day. She was excited. She hasn’t called me in months. Crickets. She clearly doesn’t want to perform now.”

Fans expressed concern for Britney. Many were concerned she was being held against her will at the mental health facility. They tried to speak out for the pop star using the hashtag #FreeBritney. While the circumstances around that are still unclear, Larry feels that this could be the end of performing for Britney.

“As the person who guides her career — based on the information I and all of the professionals who work with her are being told on a need-to-know basis — from what I have gathered, it’s clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again,” he explained.

Since Larry only wants to see Britney happy and healthy, he doesn’t want to push the issue.

“I don’t want her to work again ’till she’s ready, physically, mentally and passionately. If that time never comes again, it will never come again,” he revealed.

Our thoughts are with Britney and her family during this tough time.
