7-Year-Old Runs Off To Open A Box Backstage, Then Judge Gasps ‘Oh My God’ When She Sees Her Snake

by Jess Catcher
Jess grew up in Oklahoma before moving to New York to become a writer. She has a cat named Agnes.

One of the most difficult aspects of auditioning for a show like Britain’s Got Talent is finding a way to surprise the judges with something they’ve never seen before.

Olivia Binfield, 7, didn’t have to rely on a clever slight of hand or poke fun of her own lack of singing ability — but she still managed to make an unforgettable impression on everyone by simply bringing a pet onstage with her.

Of course, when it’s a pet that makes a judge question whether she lives with Olivia in her home or at the zoo, she’s bound to have an incredible impact!

After answering that she would like to be a zoologist when she grows up, the little girl proves she’s already got a head start on learning about exotic animals when she rushes off stage to grab her pet snake, Lucy.

The massive reptile curls her way around Olivia’s petite shoulders as the judges and hosts flip out at the sight of her. Amanda Holden even cries out, “Oh my God, I hate snakes!”

But it’s not just a gimmick for the young girl, who is there to read a delightful and inspiring poem about endangered species. The judges admit they’re impressed that she not only managed to memorize it, but did so while being distracted by the slithery animal.

Take a look below to hear Olivia recite her poetry, and be sure to SHARE the incredible audition with your friends!
