We’re nearing the end of watermelon season, and I for one have been milking what’s left of it for all it’s worth.
The only problem? Carving a watermelon can be time-consuming, messy, and downright dangerous. Good thing we have the internet to point us in the direction of brilliant inventions to make our lives in the kitchen way easier.
This nifty knife contraption is called the Angurello, and it’s made by an Italian kitchenware company called i Genietti. With this one single kitchen tool, users slice and serve watermelon pulp in the easiest way I’ve ever seen. It’s perfect for slicing and scooping the pulp in a clean, simple, and safe way.
This is one of those inventions that seems like a no-brainer, yet the internet has only recently caught onto this genius kitchen tool.
The tool slices the watermelon as it drags down and into the pulp. Then, you simply clamp the tongs together and extract the pieces in a synch. When you’re finished, you’re left with perfect, juicy slices of watermelon that are sliced right down to the rind! Plus, this works on any sized-watermelon.
