Being a celebrity parent, it’s hard to avoid the public eye — and it’s very hard to avoid the public’s judgment of each and every one of your parenting choices.
Just look at parents like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — almost every one of their decisions regarding their six young kids has come under fire at one time or another from indignant fans. Sometimes, people even chime in with their thoughts in an effort to help, but end up mommy shaming anyway, like when Kim Kardashian was resoundingly criticized after sharing a photo of her son Saint West in a front-facing car seat. (The reality star later fired back by pointing out that her young son is already at the weight and height requirement to safely sit in a front-facing seat.)
Actors Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox recently found themselves the subject of criticism as well, after sharing photos of their oldest son Noah wearing a dress. Brian was asked in a recent interview whether his little boy’s style bothered him, and he had quite the response.

Brian and Megan began dating in 2004 and were married in 2010.
The pair briefly split twice — once in 2009, when they broke off their engagement, and once more in 2015, when the Transformers actress filed for divorce from her actor husband.
Fortunately, the two reconciled less than a year later.
After their second reconciliation, they even added another baby to their ever-growing family — son Journey (born in 2016).
In addition to baby Journey, Megan and Brian also share two other children.
Their son Noah Shannon was born in September 2012.
Bodhi Ransom, who notably shares his mom’s striking big blue eyes, was born less than two years after his big brother, in February 2014.
Both Brian and Megan share photos of their three beautiful kids on their social media accounts.
Megan recently even “thanked” Brian for contributing his DNA to their “shared dream of birthing [their] own colony of teen heart throbs”!
Unfortunately, the celebrity parents recently came under fire after Megan shared a photo of her eldest boy, Noah, wearing a dress during a family outing.
The photo, posted on July 31, 2017, showed the whole family out and about.
In the picture, 4-year-old Noah was wearing a dress. The comments on the post were a mix of parents accusing Megan and Brian of “confusing” their son and parents who were supportive, chiming in with similar stories of their little boys wearing dresses as kids.
Brian, for his part, could care less about what his son does or doesn’t wear.
In an interview with Hollywood Pipeline’s Straight from the Source back in August 2017, the actor spoke out about Noah’s love of dresses.
“My son, he’s 4,” he explained. “I’ve heard from some people that they don’t agree with him wearing dresses. To them I say, I don’t care. He’s 4 and if he wants to wear it, then he wears it.”
“And it’s dresses or goggles or slippers or whatever,” Brian continued. “It’s his life, they’re not my clothes […] I feel like at 4 at 5, that’s a time when he should be having fun. He’s not harming anyone wearing a dress. So if he wants to wear a dress, awesome, good on him.”
Clearly, the most important thing here is that Megan and Brian love all of their boys (including Brian’s eldest son Kassius with his ex, General Hospital actress Vanessa Marcil) no matter what.
