The premiere of the highly anticipated film, A Star Is Born, starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, is right around the corner!

And thanks to this incredible behind-the-scenes footage, fans all around the world can finally get a glimpse at Bradley Cooper’s raw performances that were shot for the film.

“Bradley has been a visionary,” gushed costar Lady Gaga. “His performance in this film is out of this world, and I love singing with him as well. His voice is beautiful!”

“I don’t really even think of it as me,” Bradley said. “It really is based on that character.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, in preparation for the role, the 43-year-old actor spent five days a week taking voice, piano, and guitar lessons for six months.

Talk about dedication! Honestly, though, without that type of dedication from the Hangover trilogy alum, A Star Is Born wouldn’t have quite the same intangible magic we’ve seen in clips thus far.

Another fun fact about the film that might surprise you: Many of the songs were produced and cowritten by none other than Willie Nelson’s son, Lukas Nelson.

The movie has already premiered overseas, with Bradley taking on the red carpet without his costar Lady Gaga, in both Spain and Paris.

A Star Is Born hits theaters in the US this Friday, October 5.
