Though Leonardo DiCaprio is 11 years younger than Brad Pitt, the two handsome and talented leading men have shared similar experiences, influences, and career trajectories.

Many people don’t know this, but Leo and Brad actually worked on the same project many years ago. They both appeared on the TV series Growing Pains, but they missed each other by one season.

Now the legendary actors are starring together on-screen for the first time in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Leo, 44, plays an aging actor named Rick Dalton. Brad, 55, plays his long-time stuntman Cliff Booth.

Since aging out of Hollywood is a theme that runs throughout the movie, Brad has been talking about his own “shelf life,” calling the acting industry a younger man’s game.

Leo has his own thoughts about being considered “too old for Hollywood.” It’s interesting to see such revered actors, who seem (and look) like they’re still in their prime, discuss the aging process and their own insecurities.

Seeing them together in an interview like this, it’s clear they’ve formed a special bond both on and off-screen.
