by Lindsey Smith
Lindsey is from Florida and has worked in online and print media. Her happy place is Michaels craft store.

Roman, a little boy with a huge heart, is trying his hardest to find a home for a deaf yellow Labrador named Legend at the Skagit Humane Society in Burlington, Washington.

In an adorable video that Roman’s mom, Jennifer, filmed, the little boy pleads with people to come adopt the loving dog.

“Still there — needs a home really bad!” he said. “We really, really need him a home!”

Roman then went on to tell viewers that the 5-year-old Labrador has a tickle spot, and “he’s really friendly!”

Jennifer uploaded the video to her Facebook account on October 21, 2017, and it’s already been viewed more than 47,000 times.

Along with the video, Jennifer wrote: “He is breaking our hearts, and we want nothing more than to find this boy a family!! Please help us find our friend Legend the perfect home! We would love to maybe get to visit him one day in a new environment with his new family!”

Roman also talked about how he loves to play with Legend in his kennel and read to him. At the time of posting, Legend was still up for adoption at the animal shelter.
