On October 6, 2002, 11-year-old Shawn Hornbeck was riding his bike to his friend’s house in Missouri.

He took the same route that he usually did, but on this particular day he never made it to his destination.

It was as if he’d vanished into thin air.

Shawn’s parents, Pam and Craig, put absolutely everything into the search for their missing son. They spent all their time and energy trying to find him, exhausted every resource they possibly could, and put all of their savings and retirement money into investigative teams and search efforts. But four years passed, and there was still no sign of Shawn.

On January 8, 2007, another local boy, 13-year-old Ben Ownby, went missing. But as fate would have it, a teenage neighbor had spotted Ben crying inside a stranger’s truck as it sped away from a bus stop.

The neighbor listened to his instincts and called the police.

Using the description of the mysterious truck, authorities tracked it down to its owner — a nervous man who told cops he needed to get home to his godson.

Police were searching for Ben, but when they finally found him, they made another chilling yet miraculous discovery.

In the video below, Shawn Hornbeck sits down for his very first interview since his rescue. His story is unbelievable.
