Personal trainer and television personality Bob Harper has made a name for himself by helping people lose tons of weight and get in shape.

Being healthy was basically Bob’s calling card — until February 12, 2017.

On that date, Bob suffered a massive heart attack. According to People, Bob has high levels of a certain particle in his blood that puts him at a larger risk of heart attack.

A year after his devastating heart attack, Bob has opened up once again about the event. He turned to Instagram on February 23, 2018, to share a chilling photo with his followers.

The picture shows Bob connected to a number of tubes and wires, in a coma after his heart attack. He wrote:

I am sharing an extremely private photo with all of you today. This was me 1 year and 10 days ago, in a coma. TODAY I just did 18.1 (a CrossFit workout for for those of you that don’t know) @bricknewyork in the same room where I went into cardiac arrest.

To say I am grateful for my life is a MAJOR understatement. The whole time I did that workout I just kept saying to myself “I’m still here”. I am doing the #crossfitopen2018 because I AM STILL HERE!!

Thank you to my #crossfitfamily and non CrossFit family for all of your encouragement. I’ll talk more about this today in my #twocupsin post. I am so LUCKY and SO GRATEFUL!!
