Chandler and Rachel Mills married in Pensacola, Florida. Their wedding was held on Johnson Beach.

Weddings always have fun surprises, but the shock this couple and all of their guests received from a squadron of six jets during the ceremony was truly spectacular.

While posing for a lovely beach photo that featured the couple kissing, jets flew overhead right as the photographer and guests were snapping their shots!

In fact, the jets belonged to the famous Blue Angels, the United States Navy’s flight demonstration squadron. It was almost as if the the awesome picture had been planned!

Chandler is actually a pilot, training to become a Navy Flight Officer. The Blue Angel jet pilots no doubt noticed that Chandler was on the beach in his uniform.

After they flew past the couple, they circled around again for one more flyover.

The guests and wedding party were in shock, but super-excited as well! How much planning actually went on behind the scenes is still up for debate, however.

Purely accidental,” said Jordan Burch of Jordan Burch Photography. “We were taking some portraits of the couple and the Blue Angels were practicing, and we were at their turn-around-point. And it all just sort of worked out,” he added.
