When I need to wake up my dog after she falls asleep, I usually go for one of a few methods: petting her, talking to her, or making noise near her bed.

These three ways of waking up a pet are pretty normal — most people probably wake up their pets in similar ways. Sometimes pets have funny reactions to being woken up, like completely freaking out or totally ignoring their owners.

My puppy usually just gets up and stretches, but if she had a funnier reaction to being woken up, maybe I would try to capture it on video.

One family realized that their blind pug, Baboo, likes being woken up a specific way, so that’s how they rouse him now.

So what is the adorable way they decided to wake up their pug? By kissing him!

As soon as they kiss Baboo, he starts sniffing around to find out who woke him up, but he doesn’t seem to mind it — he just wags his tail and looks happy about his owners giving him love.

Everyone in the family has gotten involved in this waking-up ritual, from Dad to the young baby.
