Like many mothers, Blake Lively has worked hard to get her body back into the shape it was in before she gave birth. Blake gave birth to her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds in 2016 — and after 14 months of hard work, she decided to share her progress on Instagram.

On February 12, 2018, Blake shared a picture of her with her personal trainer online. She captioned it:

Turns out you can’t lose the 61 lbs you gained during pregnancy by just scrolling through Instagram and wondering why you don’t look like all the bikini models. Thanks @donsaladino for kickin my A double S into shape. 10 months to gain, 14 months to lose. Feeling very proud

Blake also used the picture as an opportunity to show off her amazing post-baby body — a symbol of the hard work both she and her personal trainer have put in over the past year.

Pretty soon, the comments section went wild. Some commenters were really pleased with Blake’s caption, BuzzFeed reports. One user wrote: “Thank you for being honest on how long it took you to lose your baby weight. Some celebrities make it seem like theirs fell off overnight. You look amazing.”

Another said, “Literally just made me feel so much better as to why I didn’t just ‘bounce back’ like all the celebrities.”

But others weren’t so supportive. One user wrote: “She looks AMAZING. BUT it doesn’t hurt when you’re rich and famous and have the best trainers and nutritionists.”

Another said: “I don’t mean to be negative, but this isn’t the reality for most moms/women out there. Not everyone can afford personal trainers who can do that ASAP.”

What do you think? Was Blake’s post honest, or out of touch?
