Boy Chases Beluga Behind Glass, But Doesn’t Expect Animal To Turn Around And Open His Mouth Wide

When we’re at the zoo, we don’t usually expect to form a bond with the animals behind the glass panes.

They seem to carry on, living their lives without paying much attention to the humans who walk by.

But occasionally, these animals and the people who watch them share extraordinary moments that appear to defy both expectation and reason. In these moments, they show us that they care about the same things we do! Just check out this tiger bonding with a pregnant woman, and you’ll know it’s true.

Other times, they’re more playful. Beluga whales are known for being especially entertaining and very much aware of what’s going on around them.

In the clip below, a toddler runs to and fro in front of a glass pane that offers a peek into the life of one of the animals.

When the whale passes directly in front of him, the toddler chases him from the other side of the window pane.

The animal cruises along undisturbed, but just before he disappears out of sight, he turns around to directly face the toddler.

That’s when he suddenly opens his mouth wide, sending the child running into his mother’s arms!

Has anything like this ever happened to you or your kids at the zoo?
