Little Allie is just 4 years old but knows that she simply loves Beauty and the Beast. After seeing the movie with her mom, she couldn’t take off her Belle costume and walked into her local Target all dressed up.

Her dress caught the attention of Cal, a Target employee, who was a former cop. He simply had to do something and approached the little girl. The two bonded over the story, but it wasn’t enough. Cal searched the aisles for a gift. Then, he got on one knee and presented the little girl with a toy rose.

He even asked to her to keep it safe for the Beast!

The little one, delighted with the present, couldn’t help but be vocal about it. She hugged the toy and ran around the store screaming, “He gave this to me!”

Her reaction nearly had Cal in tears. He says the brightness of her smile even nearly brought him — a grown man! — to tears.

The two are bound to be friends for a very long time to come. A small gesture like this didn’t go unnoticed by her mom, who was also touched by the gesture and Cal’s big heart. He made her feel like a real-life Belle, who is obviously her favorite character.

Please SHARE if you know that a small gesture like Cal’s can mean the world to a child like Allie!
