Whenever I am hosting an event I always turn to the internet for fun, new, exciting recipes that I want to try, especially for Thanksgiving.

But here are some truly odd, bizarre and sometimes even disgusting Thanksgiving dishes that you may want to avoid. (Turkey and gravy soda? No thanks.)

Every Thanksgiving there is always one dish that doesn’t get finished. Perhaps the deep-fried giblets? The bacon flavored ice cream?

Maybe one of the dishes below will end up on your Thanksgiving table this year. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Scroll down for some hilarious photos of the super strange Thanksgiving dishes you will want to avoid, and please SHARE with someone who will also be entertained by the “yuck-factor” of these culinary disasters!

Cranberry Surprise?

Cranberry Surprise?

I don’t think I want any Thanksgiving dish that involves too much “surprise.”

Especially when it’s being recommended to me by a mayonnaise company.

I feel better about myself when I eat a salad because I know I’m being healthy, but I think this might be cheating.

I think it’s important to get enough vegetables, but I draw the line and putting them in a “loaf.”

A new twist on a classic dish! (That doesn’t need to exist.)

Twinkie Casserole

I would have loved this when I was 10. I was also mildly obese when I was 10 so you do the math.

I guess this is a good Thanksgiving option for anyone on a liquid diet.
