Can you believe The Bachelorette is beginning its 15th season?! This year’s season features Hannah Brown, a 24-year-old woman who previously appeared on season 23 of The Bachelor.

She placed in the top seven, but ultimately didn’t make it to the final rose.

Hannah will receive a second shot at ~true love~ as this year’s bachelorette, which premiered on May 13. As per usual, ABC released a list of all 30 contestants ahead of the first episode, including photos and background information.

But one of Hannah’s suitors stands out from the rest, because he has fathered 114 children. No, that’s not a typo. Matteo Valles is a 25-year-old man with over a hundred babies.

Matteo seems like an eligible suitor in a lot of ways. He is a management consultant in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up all over the world, including Austria and Kenya. Matteo also has a mechanical engineering degree under his belt, and he’s trying to start a virtual reality startup.

But 114 kids?

OK, here’s the explanation. The kids are only Matteo’s biological children. He is a (very experienced) sperm donor.

“On the side, Matteo is a sperm donor who has helped create 114 children for all types of families,” his bio on ABC says.

The bio adds that this makes a good “icebreaker.” Does one usually bring up their 114 kids on the first date, or in their Tinder bio, or … ?
