The pandemic has left us without our normal self-care routines and cosmetic resources.

Like countless people around the world, Amanda Stanton of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise fame desperately wanted to get her hair done by a professional — and she was more than willing to make that happen.

The 30-year-old reality star and mother of two decided to be honest with her followers after breaking stay-at-home orders to get her hair done.

She hopped in her car and drove all the way from California to Arizona, just to take an appointment with a hair stylist.

Amanda say’s she’s been in quarantine at home for weeks and got a COVID test before her road trip to make sure she was negative. After the appointment, she headed back home and returned to quarantine again.

She’s facing backlash on Instagram, with fans calling her out for going so far out of the way for a nonessential service.

Now the reality star is coming to her own defense and responding to those who’ve been criticizing her for taking the long trip.
