Babies and music are a winning combination. When you think about it, a child’s first experiences with music can be formative for the rest of their life.

Some of the earliest songs they are introduced to can even wind up being some of their first memories.

While you might expect a baby’s gradual introduction to music to start with something mellow, such as a children’s song or nursery melody, this dad didn’t get that memo. Instead, he jumped right in and had his young baby listen to Led Zeppelin.

In a video shared on June 25, 2017, a New York man filmed his baby as she listened to the classic rock group for the very first time.

The introduction happened on June 23, 2017.

“Play ‘Trampled Under Foot’ by Led Zeppelin,” Dad asks his voice-controlled sound system. Once the opening riff of the song starts playing, you can see the baby’s ears perk up.

Wearing a cute striped pink onesie and lying in a bouncy seat, the baby first starts gradually toe-tapping. Then, she really gets into it!

The baby starts kicking out her feet and even moving her arms up and down in time to the music. It’s easily one of the most adorable things I’ve seen all week.

What was the first song your child listened to?
