Baby Boy Bites Into A Lemon Wedge, But Can’t Quite Decide How He Feels About It

We never imagined anyone could make sucking on a lemon seem so sweet. But then again, we hadn’t met this dimpled diner.

At first, everything seems as it should be in the world when the baby brings a chunk of lemon up to his nose — and reacts the way we expect him to.

There’s that telltale squint of the eyes, the puckered mouth. It’s pretty much the classic lemon-sucking money shot.

But a funny thing happens on the way to swearing off lemons for life: this kid suddenly lets out a howl of joy.

And then he brings the rind back to his mouth. What is he thinking?

Well, by the looks of it, he’s thinking… seconds. And thirds.

Kid, give your taste buds a shake!

Sure, children are into all kinds of culinary weirdness. We’re looking at you, dried cake mix. Of course, some people never grew out of an appetite for the strange. Look no further than Elvis Presley’s gargantuan peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Sure, everyone has their own definition of delicious. But lemons, bursting with acidity, seem the very definition of sour.

Maybe for this baby, it’s a citrus thing. If so, we’re going to assume he hasn’t tried a tangerine yet. Kid, it gets SO much better.
