Mom Photographs Baby And Dog In Matching Outfits For The Cutest ‘Who Wore It Better?’

Plenty of moms dress their kids in matching outfits. After all, what makes for a cuter holiday card than smiling siblings in identical tacky sweaters?

When I was a kid, I spent most family events dressed to match my younger sister and had to explain to distant relatives that we are not in fact twins. My mom simply loved picking out matching outfits for us.

Canadian mom Jesse Holland put a new spin on the matching siblings look. The professional photographer discovered that, for the cutest results, you should match your baby and your dog!

What began as a personal 100-days photography project became an Instagram sensation when Jesse captured her toddler and her Frenchie-Boston Terrier mix in the same crocheted hat. Jesse told LittleThings: “I was inspired to start this project after my parents bought Ella a purple owl hat. She looked so cute in it that I decided to take her portrait and then figured, dogs in hats are funny too; why not take a photo of Charlie wearing the hat?”

She has since turned the project into a “Who wore it better?” photo series featuring Ella, her daughter, and Charlie, the family dog, in the same poses, the same outfits, and sometimes even making the same faces.

Ella and Charlie, or as Jesse calls them, her “handfuls of trouble,” are both so adorable that it is almost impossible to choose who wore it better. Take a look at the photos below to decide for yourself.
