Service Dog Obsessed With Pluto Toy Freaks Out When He Finally Meets His Idol At Disney World

by Jess Butler
Jess is a curly-haired Jersey girl who adores penguins and watches the worst reality shows on TV.

Imagine having the opportunity to meet your idol in person. Well, that was exactly what happened to this sweet golden retriever named Atlas when his new owner, Julian Gavino, brought him to Disney World!

Atlas became Julian’s service dog to help the 22-year-old college student cope with a rare tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Within their few months together, Julian realized that Atlas had an obsession with a Pluto stuffed animal he owned.

So, he brought Atlas to a surprise meet-and-greet at Disney World to introduce his service dog to a real, live Pluto!

In the video below, Pluto welcomes Atlas with open arms as Julian watches with a smile on his face.

Atlas approaches Pluto and quickly warms up to him, probably because the Disney character looks just like his favorite toy at home.

Soon, you can see how excited Atlas is, just judging by his body language and wagging tail.

The dog gets super close to Pluto and even gets a quick side hug and a pat on the head from the big, yellow canine.

You won’t want to miss this special Disney World introduction. What an adorable moment for both of these amazing dogs!

Check out the footage of Atlas and Pluto’s incredible first meeting in the video below, and please SHARE if you’re glad this service dog got to enjoy such a special surprise — all thanks to his owner!
