Pregnant Wife Expects Normal Ultrasound After 8 Years Of Infertility, But Even The Doctor Gasps

Ashley and Tyson Gardner tried to conceive a baby for eight long and exhausting years. The Utah couple admits their journey through infertility was a difficult one, but Ashley decided to bravely share it to give hope to others in similar positions.

In July 2014, Ashley and Tyson had the money to try one final round of in-vitro fertilization (IVF). The next two weeks were filled with anxiety, complete with regular ultrasounds, blood tests, and lots of needles. It was during this time that a doctor called and said Ashley’s endometriosis compromised her eggs, leaving them with only two transformed embryos.

After 10 more days of waiting to see the fate of those two embryos, Tyson arranged a photo shoot. He wanted to properly capture Ashley’s reaction to the news the doctor could finally confirm: they were pregnant.

However, that wasn’t the biggest surprise… not even close.

When Ashley and Tyson went in for their first ultrasound, they were expecting to see one miraculous heartbeat. But with the cameras rolling, the doctor revealed that during their final round of IVF, the two eggs that were put back both split. Ashley wasn’t just pregnant with one baby… or two… or three… but rather four babies — and they were identical girls!

The odds of this happening are one in 70 million!

Check out the photos taken the moment Ashley and Tyson learned the news of their surprise quadruplets in the video below. It’s no wonder these priceless shots went viral.
