Arnold Schwarzenegger Won’t Press Charges Against The Man Who Drop-Kicked Him

by Angela Andaloro

Arnold Schwarzenegger is not easily shaken.

The Terminator star was attacked by a fan in a shocking moment that was caught on video last week.

You can see Arnold taking a video of the action at the Arnold Classic Africa event in Johannesburg, South Africa. Suddenly, a fan comes up behind him and drop-kicks the 71-year-old actor.

After the video went viral, Arnold took to Twitter to let fans know that he was OK. He explained that he assumed the shove was from the crowd jostling about and didn’t know he was actually attacked until after the fact.

He posted another update later on letting concerned fans know he wouldn’t be pressing charges.

“Update: A lot of you have asked, but I’m not pressing charges,” he explained via Twitter. “I hope this was a wake-up call, and he gets his life on the right track. But I’m moving on and I’d rather focus on the thousands of great athletes I met at @ArnoldSports Africa.”

Arnold also encouraged fans to share a video of an athlete in a wheelchair doing archery instead.

“Do me a favor,” he asked. “Instead of sharing the video of the guy who wants to be famous, watch some of our @ArnoldSports athletes like this young hero proving that fitness is for everyone who deserve to be famous. They’re on my Snapchat.”

Arnold’s certainly got the right idea!
