Kleenex alert! You have to get the tissues out for this one. Arkell Graves and Dana Griffin-Graves have been trying to get pregnant for 17 years.

It hasn’t been easy. The couple has endured four devastating miscarriages and one stillbirth. Five years ago, they gave up on having children. “It just didn’t work out, so we kind of gave up,” Dana told BuzzFeed.

Recently, when Dana began walking and doing some light exercise with her friends, she noticed she wasn’t losing weight the way they were. She went to doctor and got some some incredible news: She was pregnant.

After 17 years of trying, she decided to surprise Arkell. In the video below, he has no idea she is 19 weeks pregnant. Dana puts a bag of buns, a few ultrasound photos, and a pregnancy test in the oven.

It takes a moment for it to register, but he begins to exclaim, “You’re pregnant! You’re pregnant!” Then (this would be a good time to grab those tissues) Arkell completely breaks down; he weeps at hearing he is going to have a son.

His reaction is the reaction everyone wants to see from a father-to-be. I haven’t seen a pregnancy surprise this moving since cancer survivor Charlie Dryden told her mom she had conceived.

“I’ve never been that excited before in my life and I mean not mainly for myself, for her,” Arkell told ABC News

Please SHARE if you’re certain Arkell and Dana are going to be some seriously doting parents!
