Anyone who loves going to Disneyland or Walt Disney World knows what Mickey ears are.

In the parks, they range in price anywhere from $18 to nearly $30! While it is great to buy them to remember the fun we had that day in the park, it is much cheaper to make them at home.

Hannah, a YouTuber better known by her nickname CottonBun, has created the perfect, step-by-step DIY video on how to create your own Mickey ears at home!

For this video, Hannah created ears based on the character Marie from Aristocats, as that is her favorite character. But you can easily use this video as a guide to create your own ears based on your favorite Disney character. I’d love to try Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc.

I know my 11-year-old niece would love to make her own ears, especially after she got a sewing machine for her birthday! In my opinion, this is the perfect project to work on with a tween who loves Disney.

If you’re looking to create this at home, the materials used are a hot glue gun, Faux fur fabric, a plain headband, a needle and thread, pencil and plain paper, a colored bow tie or ribbon, and stuffing.

If the project involves just a bit too much sewing for you, Hannah sells her own Mickey Ears on an Etsy shop, where you can purchase them. You can follow her on Instagram and Twitter.

Please SHARE this DIY video with all of the Disney lovers in your life today!
