Ana is an Associate Editor who loves animals and food. A good taco and a snuggle with her dogs is all she needs.

When you’re a kid, the hardest thing can be being different from your friends.

But if you are lucky, you have friends that embrace you for all of your differences and love you for you.

Anu is a 7-year-old English girl who recently returned to school to show her friends her new prosthetic leg, a sleek pink sports blade.

When Anu was a baby, shortly after her birth, she had to have her leg amputated. Anu was interviewed by BBC Midlands Today to talk about how she likes her new leg, which she received as a part of government funding.

In the video below, Anu runs onto the schoolyard and all of her friends surround her. It is quite clear how wonderful her friends are. They have the absolute sweetest reactions!

It is their first time seeing the new blade and all of her friends quickly hug her to congratulate Anu on the good news.
