I’ve seen plenty of furniture DIY projects in my day, but Alyssa Ann’s dresser makeover just might be the best yet.

In a video posted on September 9, 2016, the YouTube vlogger shared the process of updating her friend’s beat-up old dresser.

According to the talented vlogger, her friend gave her the old dresser and asked Alyssa to refurbish it.

In the “before” version of the DIY, you can clearly see that the dresser was in very bad shape. The paint was dingy and chipped. The drawer knobs were tarnished and old-looking, with a few missing completely. Some of the drawers even had noticeable chips and chunks missing from their corners!

As Alyssa explained (all with a glass of red wine in hand), she began her project by removing the drawers and stripping the dresser’s exterior. Using a staining agent, white paint, and gold spray paint, she spruced up the old dresser.

The transformation is jaw-dropping. It doesn’t look like the same piece of furniture at all!

I think it’s safe to say that Alyssa’s friend will be very happy with what Alyssa was able to do with the old broken dresser!
