One of my top priorities as a pet owner is to make sure that my pup is happy and healthy.

There a quite a number of ways to put a smile on her face  from playing in the park to cuddling on the couch.

But above all else, I know that a fast and easy way to my dog’s heart is through her stomach.

She loves to eat, so I am often on the lookout for delicious doggie dishes that will show her just how much I care  like these easy-to-make peppermint puppy treats.

And she is also sure to love this homemade all-natural dog food recipe, so I definitely plan to whip up a batch! This doggie meal is so simple to make, and the results are sure to please any hungry pup.

The best part of all is that she will be eating something that is actually healthy for her, without the chemicals or preservatives that can often be found in store-bought canned options.

Ingredients
  • 2 12 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 can kidney beans, rinsed
  • 12 cup butternut squash, chopped
  • 12 cup peas
  • 1 12 cups brown rice
  • 4 cups water
Instructions
  • Place ground beef, carrots, kidney beans, butternut squash, peas, brown rice, and water in Crock-Pot.
  • Cook on high for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Stir thoroughly.
  • Serve in a doggie bowl, and watch your pup enjoy!
