When Jerry Lynn lost an alarm clock behind a wall in his house, he thought that eventually, the battery would drain after a few months and it would never ring again.
That was 13 years ago.
Jerry set the alarm clock and dropped it behind the wall, attached to a string. It would serve as a marker for where to create a hole in the wall through which to run a television cable. But the alarm clock somehow got detached and fell, and it couldn’t be retrieved.
Jerry assumed that eventually the alarm clock would run out of battery and stop ringing. But he was wrong. Now, 13 years later, it’s still ringing. If you’re inside the house at a certain time at night, you’ll hear it too!
While Jerry and his wife know what to expect, they say guests can get startled by the sudden sound. It gets louder and louder, and the beeps get closer and closer together. It’s definitely perplexing at first, but it all makes sense after the couple’s explanation.
You can hear the walls come alive for yourself in the clip below!
When do you think this alarm clock will stop ringing at the same time every day?
Please SHARE if you’re baffled that the couple hasn’t thought about removing it after all this time!
