We’re fortunate to live in a world full of kind people who do good every day.

These are the people responsible for doing wonderful things like saving sweet animals like Ally the pit bull from certain death.

They’re the ones who protect the weak and the vulnerable, and even help avert crimes, like these teenagers who rescued a little girl from a kidnapping.

But Good Samaritans aren’t always on hand when you need them. That’s why it’s important for everyone—but especially women, children, and the elderly—to know how to fend off an attack

One teenage girl in the Bridgeport, CT is demonstrating that after making a daring escape from an abductor who lured her into a car on the side of the road.

The 17-year-old girl, who isn’t being named due to her age, was caught on CCTV pushing open the passenger door and rolling from the moving vehicle.

The abductor, a middle-aged Hispanic woman driving a Toyota Yaris, has not been named either, but local police say that they have a suspect in custody. If there’s any justice, this criminal will end up behind bars, and the brave young woman who thwarted her abduction can return to her normal life. Watch her daring escape here.

And if this chilling footage made you ready for a self-defense class, please SHARE with your children and friends to spread the word about “stranger danger” like this!
