Actually, not just Americans — people all over the world are living simpler, greener lives with less debt by moving into homes that are chic but economical. The houses might be small on space, but they require big ideas.
A Vancouver resident recently posted some beautiful photos of her new tiny house on the photo-sharing website Imgur. The amazing house has enough room for her and her two cats. And though the square footage is limited, the space is anything but.
Her tiny house, which she has named “Thousand Crows,” is a testament to how much can be done in such a tiny space. It was built by John McFarlane of Camera Buildings. I look at this and think of how perfect it is for college students, bachelor pads, and vacations homes — but it’s also great for everyday living!

Thousand Crows was completed on November 10th, 2014.
The proud owner asked professional photographer Marty McLennan to photograph the completed project.
The outside definitely shows a tiny home...
...but the interior, however, has a spacious feel to it.
You could even describe it as a duplex!
The house features a "galley" kitchen with a double sink: one for dishes, the other for brushing teeth and washing hands.
Despite its small square footage, it has plenty of storage space — a common problem in some tiny houses.
It even features a utility closet where she can keep all of the gear for her cats, as well as a variety of cleaning items like brooms.
Above the galley, she has space for books, a chair, and even two plants.
But...where's the bed?
The stairs to the mezzanine level pull out to form a double size bed!
She has even more hidden storage inside the bed!
The floorboards of the mezzanine level hold books, DVDs, and other items.
Pillows, blankets, and duvets are held in the other side.
Thousand Crow is yet another excellent example of an amazing tiny house.
